On October 22, 2024, the Pasolini Hall in Udine hosted a meeting dedicated to presenting the preliminary results of the EDURES Pilot Project, aimed at assessing and enhancing the resilience of educational ecosystems in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The event, opened by Regional Councillor Alessia Rosolen, brought together representatives from schools, local administrations, and Civil Protection authorities. It provided an opportunity to share the first findings from the self-assessment process conducted using a toolkit specifically developed for the project. The regional task force, composed of 25 participants including local councillors, school leaders, and teachers, shared their experiences from various areas, such as Cividale del Friuli and Tolmezzo.

The meeting highlighted the results achieved so far and the strategic objectives for the future, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between schools, municipalities, and Civil Protection to strengthen the adaptability of the regional educational system. Participants shared their insights and suggestions, helping to outline the next steps for the project.

Future actions will focus on designing and implementing strategies to increase educational resilience in each of the pilot areas involved. This approach aims to ensure that educational institutions can effectively respond to contemporary challenges while developing models that can be replicated in other areas of the region.

The initiative, supported by the Central Directorate for Labor, Training, Education, and Family of the Region and ISIG – the International Sociology Institute of Gorizia, marked a significant step forward in building more resilient educational ecosystems capable of addressing future challenges.

A big thank you to all participants for their contributions and dedication!
